Sociologie Wine represents my personal creative freedom, persistent passion, professional agility, as well as my family legacy. As a mompreneur, I must say it is a friendly struggle between discipline and improv, daily! With that in mind, mommy entrepreneurs enter a long-standing, multi-layered relationship in which you wear two fabulously fierce fascinators: M.O.M. and C.E.O. Wearing these two hats creates an inherent compromise in unforeseen circumstances. But it’s not just juggling play dates with sales meetings and changing diapers while reading contracts. It’s also about me sharing intimate, fun experiences, and valuable time with my daughter while running my business. My daughter reflects a welcomed juxtaposed blend of perspective and gratitude. I love my daughter’s personality. Miss Alex – as I like to call her – is amazingly awesome, thoughtful, and I respect and adore her laid back confidence and unabashedly decisiveness! I love that my daughter listens and watches me intently while I am on conference calls and when the call is over she reaches up to me with outstretched arms and I hear her sweet voice call me “Momma,” everything falls right into place.
Cheers to the fabulous Alexandria Gilliard, Owner and Stylist of The Garb Dynasty for inviting us to join her amazing styling party at The Limited in Galleria Dallas! There is nothing better than #sipsociologie while shopping! Everyone had a blast! We hugged, shared French air kisses, and enjoyed yummy bites with so many amazing women! Fashion and wine paired perfectly at The Limited. We can definitely cheers to that!

Here at Sociologie Wine, we thrive to empower other women. We are so honored that we were able to sponsor the Women of Excellence Awards 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas this week. The room was filled with some of DFW’s most influential and inspiring women, leaving us in complete awe throughout the luncheon. Throughout the Women of Excellence Awards, there were so many stories and life lessons that were shared with all of us, and we could not be more appreciative to have been a part of it. We left the event feeling so incredibly inspired and want to do even more to help other women in our community!
Yes, Wine Wednesday is a real thing, and here at Sociologie we take it very seriously! Whether you are having a girl’s night in, going on a date in the city, or simply enjoying a glass on the couch, don’t miss out on the fun. We have come up with 3 easy ways for you to celebrate Wine Wednesday this week! Whether you are celebrating an occasion or simply the everyday, gather your loved ones to share some delicious sips. Check out our ideas below and let us know your favorite way to #sipsociologie on Wine Wednesdays!
1. Host Wine Wednesday
Invite your girlfriends over for a night of wine and light snacks! This is such an easy and comfortable way to enjoy your favorite drink. To step up your game, create a Sangria bar for your girls to mix their favorite fruits with their glass of Red Berry or Blushing Rose. We also love using fun paper straws – they add such a fun, feminine touch with no effort!
2. Have a Picnic Date
One of our favorite date night’s is putting small bites into our picnic basket and going to the nearest park! Take your favorite bottle of wine and enjoy each other’s company without any distractions. The simplicity and beauty of nature and your date will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. You will definitely want to leave your phone at home for this date! Bonus points if you bring along fresh blooms.
3. Indulge in Alone Time
Whether you have already had a long week at work or you want to binge-watch your favorite guilty pleasure, having alone time is much needed! Cuddle up on your couch with your favorite blanket and a big glass of wine to relax without the stress of entertaining. Indulge in some great snacks such as a cheese plate or macarons. You go, girl!
